Terasa is built so your health data stays yours. Here's what we collect, why, and the rights you have — kept short on purpose.

Who we are
Novel Systems Oy (business ID 3456815-5), Finland, is the data controller for Terasa. If you have a question, or you'd like your data corrected or deleted, email us at team@novel.systems.
What we collect
We only collect what's needed to provide Terasa: the contact details you give us (such as your name and email) when you request access or get in touch, the health metrics you choose to connect from your wearables and apps, and basic technical information needed to run the service securely.
Why we process it
We process your data to provide and improve the service you asked for, and to communicate with you about it. Health data is processed only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We never sell your data.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored within the EU, in UpCloud's data centre in Helsinki, Finland. We share it only with the service providers strictly necessary to operate Terasa, or where the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete it at any time, and we'll do so unless we're legally required to retain it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a portable copy. To exercise any of these, email team@novel.systems. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version on this page with a new date.
